of the Ottawa Art Gallery. They discuss the Gallery’s Capital
Campaign to build a new gallery and explore the profile building
campaign that Alexandra led when she first became the Gallery’s
Alexandra gives us a clear idea of the OAG’s goals to support, foster and promote the art that is produced in the city. They explore what makes Ottawa a unique place to create art and how the OAG is working to create connections to bring our art to our public.
We also get practical tips from Alexandra about building the Gallery’s profile. We hear from her about what strategies were more successful than others in terms of attaining more engagement and reaching their marketing goals.
Alexandra also share with us some insights on what we can expect from the new Gallery’s newer, bigger and smarter space. The dedicated city block will be complete in 2017-2018 and will feature not only larger exhibition spaces, but a wet lab for art making activities, a multipurpose room and cinema, among other exciting plans.
